Chicken Coating Mix

Yield: 1 cup

Substitute: free food .

Ingredients: 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs'

1/3 cup flour j

4 teaspoons dried parsley flakes ~

1 teaspoon onion powder 1

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/3 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried marjoram ~

1 teaspoon dried thyme ~

4 teaspoons vegetable oil

Method:

1. Combine all ingredients except oil.

2. Add oil and stir to mix evenly.. ~

3. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

4. Keeps 6 months.

To Use:

1 cup will coat 2 lbs. of chicken (about 6 pieces).

Moisten chicken with water and gently pat dry.

Place coating and chicken in a plastic bag and shake until evenly coated
