Mom's Fried
Rice
1 c. rice
½ tsp. salt
¼ c. margarine
2 ½ c. water
2-3 stalks chopped celery
2 tbsp. chicken in a mug
pkg. chicken rice soup mix
1 onion chopped
sage to taste
cook onion and celery in margarine, put soup
mix in, water, salt, rice
sage.
cook 20-25 minutes on low heat in frying pan.
variation-chopped ham. mushrooms or peppers. add frozen peas if desired.
