Kentucky Burgoo 
                                     
                                    This is a somewhat lighter version of the
                                    traditional regional soup. 
                                     
                                    Makes about 1 gallon 
                                     
                                    1/2 pound cooked, diced Meats (beef, pork,
                                    chicken, game, etc.) 
                                     
                                    1 quart Chicken broth 
                                     
                                    1 quart Beef broth 
                                     
                                    1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 
                                     
                                    1/2 cup Tomatoes, diced 
                                     
                                    1 small Onion, diced 
                                     
                                    1 ribs Celery, diced 
                                     
                                    1 small Green Pepper, seeded, diced 
                                     
                                    1 Potato, diced 
                                     
                                    2 Carrots, peeled, diced 
                                     
                                    1/4 cup Peas 1/2 cup Okra, cut 
                                     
                                    1/4 cup Lima beans 
                                     
                                    1/2 cup Corn 
                                     
                                    1 teaspoon Garlic, minced 
                                     
                                    Salt and pepper to taste 
                                     
                                    Place all ingredients in a large soup pot.
                                    Bring to a boil, skimming often. 
                                     
                                    Reduce the heat and simmer 2 hours.
