Spiced Peaches
1 lg. can peach halves
1/2
c. sugar
1/2 c. peach juice
1/4 c. vinegar
8-10 whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon
Combine sugar, juice,
vinegar and spices. Bring to a boil and simmer 10
minutes. Add the fruit and heat thoroughly. Remove to a flat
refrigerator
dish. Be sure all fruit is covered with the syrup.
Allow to stand refrigerated overnight.
