Rosti
This potato preparation is considered the
national dish of Switzerland.
Serves
4
4 Potatoes, large
Butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Peel the potatoes. Place in boiling water for 10 minutes.
Allow to cool. Cover and refrigerate. Grate. Season. Form into patties. Heat the butter in a heavy skillet over medium flame.
Add the patties and brown on both sides.
Serve warm.
