Beef Rice Skillet

 

3 tbsp. oil                                           1 ½ lbs. hamburger

1 onion                                               1 ½ c. rice

can tomatoes                                    10 ½ oz. beef broth

¾ c. white wine                                2 tsp. salt

½ tsp. garlic powder                       1/8 tsp. thyme

pepper to taste

 

 

 

Rice and Tomatoes

 

cook rice 1 cup 2 c. water

 

bring to boil lift with fork.

put lid on cook on lowest heat for 20 minutes.

lift lid set a side for 5 minutes.

add onion diced.  cut up tomatoes add to rice mix.  cover with bacon strips.  cook in oven 350 degrees for 30 minutes or till bacon is done.

 

 

 

Chili

 

brown hamburger add can of tomato soup, 1 can tomatoes, 2 cans chili beans

green pepper, mushrooms if desired.  add salt top taste, chili powder cayenne  pepper and paprika.

 

Chopstick Chicken

 

Cut up chicken set aside.

 

Combine 1 can chicken rice soup, can mushroom soup, 1 envelope onion soup mix.  1 c. cooked rice.  2 cans water,

 

mix other ingredients well arrange chicken on top   brush with butter.

cover with tin foil.  bake at 425 degrees for ½ hour.  remove tin foil.  turn oven to 360 for 1 hour longer.

 

Dry garlic spareribs

 

¾ lbs. ribs                                          ¼ c. water

2 tbsp. soya sauce                                         1 tsp. st. mWorchester sauce

1 ½ c sugar or sub.                                       ¾ c. white vinegar

2 tbsp. cornstarch                                         1 tsp. garlic

 

mix ingredients cook ribs plain for ½ hour, covered.  pour mix on ribs, cook 1 hour at 350 degrees.
